ISP Config: ISP Information Configuration on Router Guide

To configure ISP routing, the user first needs to add the subnet entry to an ISP, and then can configure the ISP routing with the ISP name as the destination. Users can customize ISP information, or upload ISP configuration files containing different ISP information. At the same time, the system provides a predefined ISP configuration file, which contains two ISPs, namely China-telecom and China-netcom.

New ISP information configuration file

To create a new configuration file for ISP information, please follow the steps below:

1. Select from the navigation tree on the left side of the page and click "Configure network routing" to enter the routing page.
2. Click the "ISP Information" tab to enter the ISP page.
3. Click the "New" button in the upper left corner of the ISP list to pop up the <ISP Configuration> dialog box.
4. Enter the name of the newly created ISP information configuration file in the <ISP name> text box.
5. Enter the IP address of the subnet in the <Subnet Prefix> text box.
6. Enter the subnet mask in the <Subnet Mask> text box.
7. Click the [Add] button to add the subnet entry to the ISP configuration file and display it in the <ISP Subnet List> at the bottom of the page.
8. If necessary, users can repeat steps 4 to 7 to add multiple subnets for the ISP.
9. Click the "OK" button.

Upload ISP information configuration file
To upload the configuration file of ISP information, please follow the steps below:

1. Select from the navigation tree on the left side of the page and click "Configure network routing" to enter the routing page.
2. Click the "ISP Information" tab to enter the ISP page.
3. Click the "Upload" button in the upper left corner of the ISP list, and the <Upload ISP Configuration File from PC> dialog box will pop up.
4. Select the radio button of <Upload predefined ISP configuration file from computer> or <Upload user-defined ISP configuration file from computer>.
5. Click the "Browse" button to select the required ISP configuration file on the computer, and then click the "Upload" button to upload the selected ISP configuration file to the device. The version line shows the version number of the current predefined ISP configuration file.

Save custom ISP information configuration file
To save the user-defined ISP information configuration file to the PC, please follow the steps below:

1. Select from the navigation tree on the left side of the page and click "Configure network routing" to enter the routing page.
2. Click the "ISP Information" tab to enter the ISP page.
3. Click the "Save" button in the upper left corner of the ISP list, and the <Save User-defined ISP Configuration to PC> dialog box will pop up.
4. Select the name of the ISP to be saved in the <ISP name> drop-down menu.
5. Click the "Save" button to save the corresponding ISP configuration file to the specified location on the computer.

Edit/delete ISP information configuration file
To edit/delete the configuration file of ISP information, please follow the steps below:

1. Select from the navigation tree on the left side of the page and click "Configure network routing" to enter the routing page.
2. Click the "ISP Information" tab to enter the ISP page.
3. In the ISP list section, select the check boxes corresponding to the ISP information items that need to be edited/deleted.
4. Click "Edit" or "Delete" button to edit/delete the corresponding ISP information configuration file.
