MPLS is hard to overcome latency problems

Most WAN optimization vendors typically add physical or virtual WAN optimization devices to address problems at the end of each connection, and for them, latency is an unavoidable disaster.

This approach is fairly straightforward in the traditional branch-center deployment model, but it becomes very difficult to optimize the WAN connection if the user is on a day-to-day basis in a third-party remote location with IT staff and policies. Papaiah initially expressed concern about the security and reliability of Cloud WAN optimization services, but now Aryaka's results have won his trust.

Before using the Aryaka Cloud WAN optimization service, Papaiah found that there were two extremes in the network on the WAN: performance degradation due to application sets and slow backup speed. Neither the International Hotline (IPLC) nor the MPLS service could solve the problem, he said.

"With Aryaka products, our existing MPLS backup links become as reliable as MPLS," Papaiah said.
