Abiquo is a framework that helps users build, manage, and scale complex calculations. Specific forms of open source cloud computing products are mainly three categories, the corresponding products are abiCloud, abiData, abiNtense and so on. All three of these products can be used to structure and develop the infrastructure for public-private, hybrid, and cloud applications.
abiCloud is open source cloud management software that creates management resources and scales as needed. abiNtense is a grid-like architecture that reduces the amount of time it takes to execute high-performance computing. For abiData, developed by Hadoop, hBase, Pig, is an information management system that can be used to build and analyze large amounts of data. Belongs to low-cost cloud storage solutions.
Enomalism cloud computing platform
Enomalism provides an open source project that is similar to the EC2 cloud computing framework by providing application development and deployment as an Elastic Computing. This project is based on Linux and supports both Xen and Kernel Virtual Machine (KVM). Enomalism provides a software stack based on the TurboGears Web application framework and Python.
MongoDB
MongoDB is a high-performance, open source file-oriented data storage project. Very easy to deploy, manage and use. It can be accessed over the internet and written in C ++. Key features include easy-to-store object type data, full index support, query support, replication and recovery support, efficient binary data storage, and automated sharding to improve cloud-level scalability. High performance, scalability, and proper functionality make the main design goals of this project.
Eucalyptus project
The Eucalyptus Project Elastic Utility Computing Architecture for Linking Your Programs To Useful Systems, an open source project created by the University of Santa Barbara, is software that primarily addresses the elastic needs of a cloud computing environment through its deployment on a cluster or server farm, Common Linux tools and basic web-based services. Using the FreeBSD License means direct access Commercial software applications currently supported are Amazon EC2 only and will add multiple client interfaces in the future. The system is very easy to use and maintain, uses SOAP-secured internal communications, and scalability as the main design goal, with easy-to-use, easy to expand features. This software layer tool can be used to configure a server cluster to implement a private cloud, and its interface is also compatible with the public cloud to meet the private cloud and public cloud to build an extended cloud computing environment.
We will find Eucalyptus will be included in the Ubuntu9.10 release, the previous report on Ubuntu will be built-in cloud computing environment is also based on this. The release of this integrated cloud computing open source project will hit the commercial market such as Amazon EC2. The way to build a private cloud will be more easily accepted by big companies and the growth of the public cloud will favor the SMB customer base.
There is an Eucalyptus Public Cloud on the Eucalyptus homepage to experience the cloud computing that Eucalyptus poses. The current environment can be used by any user to start a VM instance, log in, test the application in an instance, observe the status and other tasks. However, a VM instance can only use six hours, and at the same time a user can have up to four VM instances. Since RightScale announced its support for eucalyptus-based cloud installations, EPCs are also available through the EPC version on RightScale.
Another project that runs on eucalyptus is AppScale, a research framework for implementing Google App Engine applications. This framework currently allows for transparent operations on eucalyptus.
