As the mainstream service model of computing services in the post-actuarial era, cloud computing has created a new service platform for the integration and utilization of manufacturing resources. Based on the existing theory of cloud computing, this paper according to the characteristics of chemical process, this paper puts forward a virtual factory technology system based on cloud computing, through the discussion of key technology, effectively converts the existing resources into service, and establishes three-dimensional cloud simulation enterprise scene environment through virtual reality technology, which enhances the user's actual experience in the field operation. The Ethylene glycol virtual factory based on cloud computing and virtual reality technology shows that the system has expansibility and openness, it can realize the process simulation quickly and provide effective support for the simulation operation of the factory.
