What Microsoft's new CEO has to do

Microsoft knows that cloud computing is the future and that it needs to be done better to attract corporate users. Nadra seems to be the best person to do the job at Microsoft. But to achieve this goal, Barnard must think about the future of cloud computing and find the best way to differentiate Microsoft from the crowded cloud computing market. 1. Limit Gates ' influence

Nadra's decision to ask Bill Gates to play a broader role in his "cabinet" is worrying. Gates was successful in his career. But Gates represents the old days of Microsoft's reliance on software alone. Gates did not believe Ballmer would succeed in the mobile arena. 2. Stop whitewashing Windows 8 work

5. Devote more time to cloud computing

One reason why Nadra became CEO of Microsoft was that he designed the company's growth in cloud computing. But his work is far from complete. Nadra must work with his team to improve Office 365, introduce better functionality for OneDrive, and turn Microsoft into a cloud-focused company. Being attractive to companies means that Microsoft is offering high-quality cloud computing solutions. Nadra must be willing to do it.

6. Strongly questioning Nokia's role

At the moment, it cannot undo the deal that it plans to complete in the current quarter to buy Nokia. But he should question whether Microsoft has a complete mobile device unit. Nokia may offer the best Windows Phone in the market, but is it more advantageous for Nokia to have a better understanding of Nokia and find out the best things about Nokia and eliminate all the bad stuff?
