64-bit Shared printing on LAN in Windows 7

My machine is 64-bit Windows 7. I want to print the printer on the computer 10.9.16.90 on the LAN. The printer name is printer.

Before using "add a printer" ----> "printer on the network", it always fails at the end, and the prompt is: unable to connect to the printer error 0x000000d.

The reason is that the server connecting to the printer is a Windows XP system and a 32bit server. Of course, the driver cannot be installed on my machine, so the printer cannot be connected.

1. Add a local printer

2. Create a custom Port

3. enter the name of the port! This is important !!! I entered \ 10.9.16.90 \ printer

4. The system requires me to select a printer. Because my computer is Monica's bizhub7616 and the system does not exist, I got a 64-bit driver from the official website of GDI 7616 Windows XP. Then select install from the file, find the driver folder, and select tsg_t.inf.

After installation, the system has a printer named GENERIC 16bw-5.

Then test and print!
