Centos6.5 installation Oracle11gR2 (64-bit), centos6.5 installation tutorial
Centos6.5 install Oracle11gR2 (64-bit) and centos6.5

(My virtual machine environment)

1. Download The centos6.5 installation package.

For example:

2. Download the oracle installation package, which is not explained. (You may need to register an oracle account. The linux version is 64-bit here)

As shown in:

3. Remote tools used: xshell (for command line operations) and ssh shell client (for uploading and downloading files)

4. Oracle11g installation conditions: (see the official documentation)

A. Memory

Minimum 1 GB, 2 GB recommended, unlimited

B. Swap size:

1G <memory <2G: swap should be 1.5 times the memory;

2G <memory <16G: swap should be equal to memory size;

16G: swap 16G;

* ** Note: If swap does not meet the requirements, an error will occur during the installation process ***

C. tmp size

Ensure that there is 1 GB of remaining space. If not, you can delete some of the space. We recommend that you increase the size of the partition size (2.5 GB)

D. Hard Disk Space

Installation space:

Enterprise Edition (Enterprise Edition) 4.7 GB

Standard Edition (Standard Edition) 4.6 GB

Data Space:

Enterprise Edition (Enterprise Edition) 1.7 GB

Standard Edition (Standard Edition) 1.5 GB

5. centos Partition Scheme

About 30 GB in total

6. Install centos6.5

As shown in, select basic server for installation and

Select BasicServer, and then select "custom now ";

Remove Java and perl from "Basic System"
It is best to select Emacs and Internet applications from "Applications ".
Select All components except the KDE Desktop in "desktop"

Set after restart:

It is best to select ntp to ensure the time is correct, and select "Quick Start synchronization" in the advanced options"

Kdump

Restart again, OK

Key: modify the system, machine names are consistent, firewall off, create users, create installation path, configure environment variables and other reference hyperlinks: http://blog.csdn.net/kimsoft/article/details/8117575

After you have done everything above, remember to update centos6.5 before installing oracle,

# Yum update

# Yum upgrade

7. Install the oracle dependency package:

Is the dependency package provided in oracle11gR2 official documentation.

Command:

# Rpm-q package name-for example, binutils. Do not enter all package names. Check whether the package is installed.

# Yum search binutils

# Yum install binutils. x86_64-install the found package

** In view of the inconvenience caused by each search, I have summarized a full installation package (provided that centos has been updated) and copied it directly to the command line for installation:

# Yum-y install binutils. x86_64 \

Compat-libcap1.x86_64 \

Compat-libstdc ++. x86_64 \

Compat-libstdc ++. i686 \

Gcc. x86_64 \

Gcc-c ++. x86_64 \

Glibc. i686 \

Glibc. x86_64 \

Glibc-devel.x86_64 \

Glibc-devel.i686 \

Ksh. x86_64 \

Libgcc. i686 \

Libgcc. x86_64 \

Libstdc ++. x86_64 \

Libstdc ++. i686 \

Libstdc ++-devel. x86_64 \

Libstdc ++-devel. i686 \

Libaio. x86_64 \

Libaio. i686 \

Libaio-devel.x86_64 \

Libaio-devel.i686 \

Make. el6 \

Sysstat. x86_64 \

Lrzsz. x86_64

Note: The last lrzsz is a tool required for the upload and download (rz, sz) command, but it is not as fast as the ssh shell, so it is optional.

Install Oracle

1. The basic configuration information such as the created oracle user and path has been executed.

2. upload the downloaded oracle Installation Package, use the root user to copy the package to the installation path, modify the user and group of the installation package to oracle: oinstall (based on the user and group created by the individual), and switch to the oracle user, decompress the installation package.

3. When the Oracle installer is half done, there will be a process of checking the installation conditions, which will prompt many packages (some have been installed, but the version is too high) not installed, such:

Installation command: (paste it directly)

# Yuminstall libaio. i686 libaio. x86_64 libaio-devel.i686 libaio-devel.x86_64 compat-libstdc ++-33. i686compat-libstdc + +-33. x86_64 elfutils-libelf-devel.i686 elfutils-libelf-devel.x86_64 libstdc ++. i686 libstdc ++. x86_64 unixODBC. i686 unixODBC. x86_64 unixODBC-devel.i686 unixODBC-devel.x86_64

Note: after these packages are installed, when the oracle installer checks again, there will be an installation package that is not qualified, such:

In this case, you can directly ignore it and enter the installer.

The installation is complete .. Haha

So the question is: How can I use oralce? How to start oracle and how to start oracle?

At this time, you go to the Internet to check, there will be a lot of people said, enter the following command:

$ Lsnrctl start

$ Sqlplus/as sysdba

After execution, you may find that:

TMD, the command cannot be found. What is the situation? What is the situation?

In this case, you must check whether oracle is installed in the path of the ORACLE_HOME variable you configured. If not, modify the variable and log off or restart it, if you enter it again, the problem occurs.

If you configure oracle boot later, see: http://blog.csdn.net/panpanxj/article/details/8726950

PS: it is only for entertainment and personal learning. By now, you can only use Oracle to cope with your work !!
