Putting Tftp on the right path

When transferring files through Ttfp, the server and client are required. For example, if I want to download files from a friend's machine, I need to first configure the Windows tftp server and then download the files from the client of my machine. 1. Set the server

This step allows your friends to operate. First, ask your friend to download Tftpd32 and decompress it (he may be very depressed), and then open Tftpd32. Then your friend's machine is a Tftp server. By default, the Tftpd32 storage directory is the download directory. In other words, the files you want to download must be placed in the Ttfpd32 storage directory to be downloaded by the client. To change the Tftpd32 download directory, click "Browse" in the upper-right corner and select the Save directory of the file to be downloaded. However, if you want to download files from your friend's machine in the future, you need to put the files in the modified download directory instead of the Tftpd32 storage directory. If you are confused about the files in the downloaded directory, you can click Show Dir in the upper-right corner to view the files.

Download the Tftpd32 software (both ends are installed with one) and select the path you want to save in "Current Directory". Then you can find the file in the directory. Click "Put" to upload the file to the download directory of your friend Tftpd32.

Notes:

A. If the file is successfully transferred or not, you can see it in Tftpd32's "Tftp Server" and "Current Action.

B. if you want to pass the file to your friend, you only need to replace the command with "Tftp-I friend IP put pictures.rar. For more parameters of the Tftp Command, enter Tftp in CMD. However, your friend cannot upload or download files at this time, because it is a Tftp server, and only the client can perform these operations. If he wants to pass something to you, you need to be the server.

C. When using Tftp to send files, the server must have a fixed public IP address. If your friend accesses the Internet through the gateway in the LAN, the file cannot be transmitted. Of course, if two people are in the same LAN, files can also be transmitted by using an intranet IP address, but this is just a little more.

D. Windows 98 can be used as a server, but the client must be a system with Tftp commands, such as Windows 2000 or Windows XP.
