In practice, we often think that project success is the highest criterion for success.

I think this recognition is one of the main causes of project failure and one of the major killers of project managers. This misunderstanding is what I call a Project Manager's [failure misunderstanding ].

Why do we call this misunderstanding? Is there any reason here? Let's take a look at the table below to see what the consequences will be.

Ask yourself, are you willing to take such a risk to gamble on the success of the project?

 

The following is not a matter of fact: projects are always short-term, and people will soon forget whether they are successful or not. However, you have a long-term impression. This kind of impression will not be easily forgotten, and may even be remembered for a lifetime.
