Five changes in Windows 8.1

For Microsoft, Windows 8.1 is designed to fix some problems with Windows 8. To do this, the 8.1 system re-enable the Start button, which can go directly to the desktop system. Here's a summary of Windows 8.1 changes:

1. Start screen

In Windows 8.1, users can customize the Start screen (Start screen) and lock screen (lock screen) more.

For example, users can only decide which apps to put on the start screen. The app screen displays a list of all the programs that you can arrange by name, in the most common way, and in the latest programs. You can also call the app screen from the start screen with your finger touch up and slide.

2. Intelligent searching (Smart Search)

According to Microsoft, the United States has 20 billion PC searches a month, including Web search, file search, and program search, so Microsoft wants to include all searches in the newly designed search function.

To this end, Microsoft launched a smart search, Microsoft called it the search hero. The Smart search page invokes Bing Web search results, as well as links to PC programs, search and results from the Windows store store, all available in one place.

For example, if you search for "San Francisco," Intelligent search will return many sources of results, including the Web (results preview), maps, weather information, and so on. Click on the weather information to automatically log in to the weather program, it will show the current weather animated view, as well as the weather forecast. Touch the left one to slide back to the search results page.
