The company bought the latest Windows 7 operating system, Intel I5 processor, 4-core, slot, ^_^.
Because this is a 64-bit operating system, when a 32-bit XP shared printer is connected, the driver cannot be installed. It is very depressing and started to think it is a driver problem, I went to the HP official website to download the latest 64-bit driver, and the result was not enough.
After half a day on the internet, Google finally found a solution:
First, add a printer through the control panel, add a local printer, install the driver on the official website, and do not check the printer (because there is no printer at all)
Then, open the printer properties configuration window, click the [port] tab, in the configuration interface, add a new port, select the local Interface
Change the interface name to "\ Host IP address or network name \ printer name". This is critical and do not fill in the error. After the addition is complete, select the checkbox on the front and confirm it.
