Windows NT Boot Process

Windows NT boot process:

1. Run power-on self-check (post)Program

8. When ntldr loads the selected operating system, one of the following two operations is generated:
If the NT System is selected, ntldr runs ntdetect. com
For other operating systems, ntldr loads bootsect. Dos and gives control to it. nt Process

9. ntdetect. com search for hardware and send the hardware list to ntldr to register in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/hardware.
10. ntldr load ntoskrnl. EXE, Hal. dll
11. ntldr retrieves the system space and loads the configured device driver so that it can be started at boot.
12. ntldr passes control to ntoskrnl. EXE, and the guiding process ends.
