How can I share a printer on a LAN ?, Printer LAN
I believe many friends will not use printer sharing settings, but they will be used in the office or in some families. I am not very familiar with it. I have operated on it two or three times, but I think it is necessary to share it with you, especially those who need it. I don't write well. I hope I can help you. Thank you!
1. Click the "Start" menu in the lower left corner of the computer, find the "device and printer" menu in the "Start" menu, and click to enter.
2. Open the "devices and printers" window, find the current printer, select the printer, right-click it, and find "Printer properties" in the pop-up options ".
3. Find "Printer properties" and click to enter the next command window. This command window defaults to the "regular" option.
4. In the Properties command window, find the "share" option and click.
5. In the "share" Window of the property, find "share this printer", select it in the square above it, and check it. You can enter the Share Name.
6. Enter the sharing name and click "OK". You will find a "√" symbol in the lower left corner of the printer.
7. After the settings are complete, check the pc ip address, enter the IP address in "run", press the Enter key, enter the account and password in the pop-up window, and click "OK ", transfer the shared printer of another computer to the "printer and fax" folder of the computer. In the dialog box that appears, click "yes" to install the printer driver.
