How to install the apple Snow Leopard operating system on Windows 7

Yesterday, I spent a day studying how to install snow leopard with vmware. I first read the post titled dancing. However, when installing the software according to the method in the post, the system always encounters an error message saying that hardware virtualization is not supported. However, I have enabled hardware Virtualization in the Bios, and Securable also shows that my CPU supports hardware virtualization. After that, I spent a lot of time reading domestic and foreign posts and found that many people encountered this situation. Therefore, I suspect that the vmware version and system compatibility issues have caused the installation of vmware6.5. The hardware virtualization problem has been solved, but there are new problems, namely, operating system not found. After more than ten hours, I finally gave up and turned to the method of installing mac OS using virtualbox. Fortunately, I saw a few foreign posts and learned a few posts, and finally successfully installed mac OS 10.6. So I 'd like to share my experience with you.

By the way, my computer is thinkpad T60, Intel Core2Duo 1.83 GHz CPU supports hardware virtualization, GB memory, occupies 10 Gb space, the system is Win7.

Preparations
1) download VirtualBox 4.0.4: http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
2) download the 10.6 CD image in the [dancing as a song] Post ::

If you have downloaded the mac OS 10.6 CD image from somewhere else, you do not need to download it any more. You should be able to install it as well. Remember to convert to iso format.
Now let's put a tool for converting to isocontent, and enter the command line to the frontend folder to input dmg2img.exe ***. dmg ***. iso, which is very convenient.

3) download the boot file:

Now, you are ready to install it.

Installation Process
1) install VirtualBox. Needless to say.
2) Run VirtualBox to create a new virtual machine.
In New-> Next-> Name, enter OSX ()-> Next-> Memory. We recommend that you use 1 GB or more-> Next to create a VM. Hard Disk Space should be set to at least 10 Gb, of course, the more the better,




3) after creation, return to the main interface and click Settings-> System to make the following Settings:




4) In Settings, select Storage on the left and load the downloaded boot file empireefiv1_5.iso.




5) return to the main interface and click Start to Start the VM. The following figure is displayed. Click the CD icon in the lower-right corner to replace the loaded iso file with the mac OS 10.6 CD image.




6) in the VM display box, double-click and press F5. After the mac OS disc icon appears, press enter to start the installation. If you take this step, it is basically done, and there will be no problems in the future.
7) Select a language




8) Select the drive letter to be installed. At this time, you should not see any drive letter. Click the Disk Utilities above to create a new Disk.




9) Select a new drive letter and click erase.




10) Close and select the new drive letter to continue installation




11) Okay. You can go out and walk around. It's estimated you have to install it for an hour.




12) when the progress bar reaches the end, you will see the screen saying that the installation has failed, but the installation is complete.




13) shut down the VM. Click Machine-> Close-> Power off the machine in the upper left corner.
14) return to the main interface and re-select the direct boot file empireEFIv1085.iso. Start the system and select OSX. All right, you are done!




15) you can see the Mac interface.
