How to let TXT file URL directly to the Internet?

Usually if we record a batch of network address in Notepad TXT file, want to pick a website to surf the net, must copy this website to the address bar of webpage browser and execute connection command to Internet, copy to Word also not. If we can directly click on a Web site in the TXT editing environment can connect to the Internet, it will be more convenient. In fact, this implementation is also very simple, we use emeditor software to manage our TXT file, and EmEditor make the necessary settings to achieve this idea. The following small series to tell you a way: double-click a TXT file containing the URL, the network address can be one click can be linked to the Internet, no longer copied to the browser to open.

Because our txt default is associated with Notepad program, so first need to install EmEditor software, and set up with TXT file association. If you choose to install automatically, this association is automatically established without human intervention. But if you are using a green version of EmEditor, you need to manually establish the association by clicking the EmEditor window command "tools → current configuration Properties" (or pressing the shortcut key Ctrl+enter), clicking the "Association" tab in the Properties window, and then selecting the "Enable association" checkbox. Then click the "Add" button and enter TXT in the associated Extension text box and select the check box in front of it (see Figure 1).

Next, we select the Link tab, under which the check box in front of link to URL is selected, and if you want to send a message by clicking the email address in the text editor, select the "Send mail when you click" option. Please note that some URLs may contain Chinese characters or single-byte Japanese symbols or tokens, and if you want to make such URLs work, then you need to select both "identify Double-byte characters in the URL" and "identify the single byte kanji and tags in the url" option. Select OK (Figure 2).

After setting up, then open a text containing the URL to see, all network links or mail links, has become a direct click on the Internet to send the message display mode (as shown in Figure 3).

Small tip:

Use the above method in txt text Management Web site, sometimes, you accidentally click a link with the text string will open the browser online, perhaps this is you do not need, this will bring you some unnecessary trouble. At this point, you can select the "Text Properties" Settings window "link" tab, select the "only click on the mouse to enable" checkbox and determine (Figure 4), so that only double-click the URL to link the Internet, the trouble is lifted.
