3. Enterprise Edition Visual Studio Enterprise RC 

Visual Studio Enterprise RC provides a new installation experience. Minimum installation requires up to five MB, can be installed and updated within minutes, and can be uninstalled completely. You get basic code editing support for more than 20 languages, as well as debugging and source code control. The data can also be loaded into Visual Studio Enterprise. The IntelliTrace standalone collector works with Web, SharePoint, WPF, and Windows forms apps. When data collection is complete, you can uninstall it by simply deleting the collector.

The Visual Studio 2017 preview agent includes agents and controllers that you can use to build and test applications across desktops, servers, and clouds. You can expand load generation and support distributed data collection and distributed test execution. You can also use test agents to manage test, workflow, and network isolation for virtual machines that are used in Visual Studio Lab Management.

3.Visual Studio RC feedback client

By working with your stakeholders to install the Visual Studio RC feedback Client on their computers, you can gather feedback about the software project. You can ask stakeholders to provide feedback and they can provide rich feedback-such as screens, audio, video, and attachments-that are tightly integrated into Visual Studio team Foundation Server and Team Services.

4.Visual Studio RC Performance tool 

The Visual Studio RC Performance tool is a standalone command-line tool that performs profiling without installing Visual studio. It supports diagnostics in cases where the Visual Studio IDE is not applicable (for example, a production Web server). 3.EditorConfig Support

4.Visual Studio Tools for Apache Cordova

This Visual Studio RC version includes the following improvements:

• Cordova simulation. A new browser-based emulator enables fast encoding and immediate viewing of results in a browser. Real-time reload, plug-in emulation, and Ionic framework support enable VS to have the fastest developer workflow in the market.

• Support for IOS 10 and XCode 8. The update for theremotebuildbuild agent for IOS development now includes XCode 8 support.

• Error coloring. Diagnosing build failures often requires developers to read through the build output, so we begin to color the error in the build Output pane, making reading easier. In addition, a header is added to describe the steps in the build progress to help the developer identify where the failure occurred in the build progress.

• Included with the product. In addition to the lightweight installation for accelerating Cordova application builds, paths from within Visual Studio are now added to obtain additional building blocks during development. If Android or Windows components are not installed, you can get them from the deployment bar, and the deployment bar launches the VS installer, which provides guidance to the user during the installation process.

• Fast and reliable generation. The new Visual Studio installer, combined with an offline installation of a fully validated third-party component toolchain, speeds up generation and makes these builds easier to troubleshoot and fix.

Important NOTES:

• The build tools and emulators for Android and Windows are now optional. They can be retrieved dynamically through the build/Deploy menu bar.
• This version of Visual Studio does not support Windows Store 8.1 projects. It is recommended that you update the Cordova project with Windows 10 as the target.
• The lowest supported Cordova version has been increased to 6.0.0. Projects that target Cordova versions below 6.0.0 can only beconfig.xmlbuilt and deployed in Visual Studio 2017 by upgrading their projects in.
