Twincat software system is a PC-compatible automation system, the full name is "The Windows Control and Automation technology". It turns any PC compatible machine into a real-time control system with multi-PLC, NC axis control, programming environment and console.
Start the installation program
Click "Setup.exe" in the Twincat directory on the Run installation disc, and click "Next" to continue with the following dialog box.
Select language
Select the language you want to install Twincat, select 中文版, and click "Weiter" to continue.
Quit other Programs
The installer recommends exiting all other programs before the installation is formally started. Then click "Next" to continue the installation.
Agree to install the license agreement
If a prompt appearsThere is some files marked for deletion in next reboot.please reboot first then install againg., open the registry and delete the following key values:
Find "Pendingfilerenameoperation" in Hk_local_machine\\system\\current controlset\\control\\session Manager and delete it.
Enter user information
You must enter the serial number in this dialog box, the serial number can be found in the purchase agreement, and if you install the demo version of Twincat, this dialog box will be blank.
Select the installation level
You must select one of the following installation levels.
Description of product Grade:
TwinCAT CP
Includes special features in the Control Panel (Ups,s-keys, ...) The necessary components
TwinCAT IO
The user-mode program can access the IO device directly. This level does not include a PLC program
TwinCAT PLC
Includes the Iec61131-3 Software Development Kit
TwinCAT NC PTP
In addition to the PLC, this module includes the NC/PLC function to control the PTP axis.
TwinCAT NC I
In addition to the PLC, this module includes NC three-dimensional interpolation function
Select the installation type
Select the installation type of Twincat, if there is no registration code, select "Install the day Version", within 30 can be used without any restrictions. The twincat fails after 30 and can be reinstalled at this time.
Select Installation Parts
The default option for Twincat is to not install all parts. Users can choose to install the parts according to their own needs. The parts are described as follows
Select destination Path and program folder
You can select any installation path and program folder, usually using the default values provided by the program.
Restart the computer
The computer must be restarted after the program installation is complete.
At this point, Setup completes the installation of Twincat.
