Eaccelerator seems faster than APC, however, if you are running multiple instances of Apache on the same server, you will understand the second caching utility PHP uses. I use two APC and Eaccelerator, the APC seems to be getting better, only within the last 3 months (since 01/2006).
Note: This accelerator may become better in the near future, and it is said that the accelerator should be consolidated in the php6.x release.
The installation process is very simple installation steps:
1. Download the. dll file that corresponds to your PHP version:
APC. dll for PHP4. X
Apc.dll for PHP5. X
and rename it to Php_apc.dll.
2. Copy the Php_apc.dll into your PHP module folder, such as C:/php/extensions (PHP4. X) or C:/php/ext (PHP5. X) http://www.lengmianji.net/
3. Open php.ini. Search; Extension=php_zip.dll in this line, add
Extension=php_apc.dll
apc.enabled = 1
Apc.shm_segments = 1
Apc.shm_size = 64
apc.optimization = 0
Apc.num_files_hint = 1000
Apc.ttl = 0
Apc.gc_ttl = 3600
Apc.cache_by_default = On
Apc.slam_defense = 0
Apc.file_update_protection = 2
APC.ENABLE_CLI = 0
Apc.stat=0
4. Save the php.ini, restart your IIS or Apache. The installation is successful.
