NBU5240 backup System Restore DATABASE---Windows edition

NBU5240 is a disaster recovery system based on system files and a variety of database backups, with high flexibility. The following is a detailed record of how to use the system's backup files for database restore. (based on business scenario)

A business unit of the company suddenly found that the front desk system data is abnormal, has been a few days ago ran out of data, require IT department backstage verification. FP system foreground data use the test machine to return to the 13th noon run time.

The database is also returned to the data in the afternoon of 13th, accordingly. The system is Saturday full standby for the FP database, no backup policy on Sundays, and a differential backup for all other times. The client does a series of restore operations to install the NBU Client tool to read the backup files on the primary server, since the Convention uses the host name, so the hosts file must be well recognized (ip-hostname).

Because the request is to return the 14-15 point of the database at noon, so the control file backup time is later than this point, that is, take the 14th # 2 o'clock in the morning backup control file

Based on the Windows platform, to create an instance, the instance name can be named according to yourself, Liunx platform can directly create a pfile file to boot to Nomount state

After creating an instance under the Windows platform, adjust the archive mode and directory, and then close the database to delete all other database files except the parameter file.

Then boot the database into the Nomount state and use the Rman script to restore the control file

After restoring the control file, start the database to mount State and restore the database to number 13th
