Oracle GoldenGate Studio graphical interface management tool Installation
Oracle GoldenGate Studio is a graphical interface management tool that allows you to conveniently complete OGG replication design. To install this tool, you need Java 8 (1.8) JDK software, which can be downloaded from the official oracle website.
1. Installation Process
Run the following command as an oracle user:
In the first pop-up interface, you must specify the Inventory directory. The oracle user must have the read and write permissions.

2. Creating the Oracle GoldenGate Studio Repository Schema
[oracle@oggs ~]$ cd $OGG_HOME/oracle_common/bin[oracle@oggs ~]$ export JAVA_HOME=/usr/java/jdk1.8.0_73 [oracle@oggs bin]$ ./rcuRCU Logfile: /tmp/RCU2016-07-12_14-42_647144778/logs/rcu.log
Select System Load and Product Load.
Specify the database connection information. Next step.
Select Create new prefix and Oracle GoldenGate in the component box. Keep the default values for others. Next step.
Set the account password and click Next.
Set the supervisor password and select the encryption method. Next step.
Specify the tablespace information. Next step.

3. Access Oracle GoldenGate Studio
[oracle@oggs ~]$ cd /u01/app/oracle/Middleware/Oracle_Home/oggstudio/bin[oracle@oggs bin]$ ./oggstudio Oracle GoldenGate Studio Copyright (c) 1997, 2016, Oracle and/or its affiliates. All rights reserved.Type the full pathname of a JDK installation (or Ctrl-C to quit), the path will be stored in /home/oracle/.oggstudio/12.2.1.1.0/product.conf/usr/java/jdk1.8.0_73
