1. How long have you been engaged in the Fragment Art?

More than five years ago, I have been engaged in the Fragment Art since my college.

2. How do I like the Fragment Art?

First, we found many things in our lives have their unique structures and forms, such as ye Mai, the flowers of some plants, and even the fingerprints and palm prints of our palm, the magic of these things is attracting me. Later, I collected data and found that these are all in the fragment category. I was very fascinated. Later, I found that fragment, as a ry describing nature, is also a powerful tool to create with it.

3. At that time, there were many people doing Fragment Art in China?

At that time, there was no Chinese website introducing Fragment Art. I had to go to a foreign website to communicate with foreign fragment artists. In fact, we all live in a world of fragment, but we don't know yet. If the domestic information is relatively closed, it will be slower for new things to come in.

4. What preparations do I need before creating a file?

In fact, the creation method of the fragment art is not limited to the creation of computer digital. As long as your work contains fragment thoughts and fragment features, you can use other methods to create the Fragment Art, I have seen some foreign experts take the strokes and fragment. It's great. When it comes to creating digital Fragment Art, the preparation work is very easy. After you have the creative inspiration, open the computer, open the software, and express your emotions and pictures, it is expressed by functions and formulas, and then freely combined and matched as needed. I use a pen to paint.

5. Some people have said that Fragment Art cannot predict the results at the beginning of its creation. How can we know what we want?

If I didn't know the results at the beginning of my creation, how could I generate them automatically?


To learn the creation of Fragment Art, you must be diligent and knowledgeable. Through a lot of exercises and accumulation, you will know what you are doing, what will be generated in the next step, and then you will be able to apply it on your own.

6. What are common Fragment Art software?

Currently, the mainstream include: apophysis (apo for short), ultra fractal (UF), and mndelbulb3d (mb3d ). Many of my works are created using APO. I like its unique light and shade effect, which is magnificent.

7. Have you ever tried to create the Fragment Art on other media?

I tried it. For example, I used strokes to draw hand cramps. Haha, the infinite granularity of fragment is not a joke. There is also a strange kaleidoscope effect composed of mirrors reflecting each other. As I said before, Fragment Art is not limited to computer digital.

10. What are the promotion plans for Fragment Art recently?

Yes, there are very few people in China who know Fragment Art, and there is an extreme lack of publicity. We rely solely on the power of the fragment art network. Therefore, we need to use other platforms to promote the promotion. I believe this exhibition is a good starting point. Then we can find some partners, especially in the visual field, to do things that will kill everyone's attention in seconds.

11. Can you make a small summary of your fragment art career so far?

After being refreshed by fragment in college, I live in a new world. I love fragment passionately and want to use the tools of the Creator to depict this beautiful world. Through self-study and very self-abuse exercises, I succeeded. However, I am very lonely. No one can communicate with me. Later I met fengda (click to view fengda's interview article). He is also a fragment artist and created a Fragment Art network, I became the moderator. Slowly, I started a lot of creative tutorials, And now many domestic friends may have read the Fragment Art. I often go abroad to deviantart, where I can find a large group of foreign artists who like me. With the release of light of night, Lotus Lake, nebula, and other works, my name began to sound in the foreign fragment world. However, looking at the slow progress of Chinese Fragment Art, I am eager to push her forward, so I am constantly searching for the soil where fragment-related peanuts are continuously created.
