The PS tutorial " pconline Tutorial" brings the splash effect of the model with Photoshop. This PS tutorial mainly introduces important steps, perhaps some small details will be overlooked, if you do not achieve the effect of this PS tutorial, you can try to modify several times. Let's take a look at the final effect chart below.

  Final effect Diagram

Figure 00

Step:1

As you can see from the final effect, the body of the model will turn into raindrops, leaving only clothes, so we select the body first. Press CTRL + C to copy the material layer, and then set the original layer is not visible, select the Pen tool, through amplification constantly improve the selection of waist and right elbow, and then select the reverse selection, and then add a layer mask.

Step:2

Now select the larger raindrop pattern in the background, and then copy and paste it, create a new layer, move the layer underneath the mask, and name it "rain stomach." Move the sticky raindrop pattern to the area you just shaded, then click on the mask in the Layers panel, select > Load the selection, create a new selection, and then continue to select the reverse, so you can choose only the belly selection.

Select the "Rain stomach" layer, then choose from the Main menu: select > Transform selections, slightly change the selection, make the replacement part more fit, and then copy the Paste to form a new layer above the layer group, and constantly trim through the eraser and soft brush, so that the raindrops can be fully integrated into the background.

Other parts of the model also use the same method to mask the replacement, and if you feel that it's more cumbersome to duplicate layers and masks, you can use the original layer to manipulate directly.

Step:3

As you can see from Figure 02, the model's left hand hides some of the jeans, and here we need to find some suitable fabric to fill the void. Paste the cloth into the material with a mask, eraser, and brush. Then the reflection of the soles of the feet can also be removed by copying the surrounding material, pasting and then using the Eraser tool.

Step:4

To make the model's skin color appear more prominent, set the brush diameter of 70 pixels, low hardness, blending mode is saturated, set the hue to gray and black.

Figure 04

Step:5

Below we need to reconstruct the skin of the model. Copy the original layer and then use a 3-pixel stroke to draw the approximate shape of the model. If you have a tablet friend, you may be able to draw better, because the mouse is not very good operation.

Figure 05

Step:6

Here's the gray shade of the model. Copy the original layer and set it to grayscale mode. Then apply the Gaussian blur filter, set the opacity to 24%, and copy the layer. The effect is shown in the following illustration.

Step:7

Below continue to strengthen the skin drop effect. Now the following picture shows the raindrop material, if your current layer background is not black, select the image > new adjustment layer > Reverse phase, so the use of material will be more convenient. Reduce the saturation of raindrops, make raindrops become a bit gray, and then improve the brightness of raindrops, change the blending mode for the screen.

Figure 07

Step:8

Erase the background of the raindrop material, as shown in the following figure. Select the appropriate part to move to the left hand position of the model, and the rest of the unwanted parts will be obscured or erased.

Figure 08

Step:9

Using the above method to repeat steps 7 and 8, you need to be careful not to make the droplets too obvious. If it is difficult to distinguish some parts of the body during the operation, copy the shaded part in step 6. Conversely, if some parts are too obvious, then use a low hardness eraser. Finally, the effect is shown in the following illustration.

Figure 09

Step:10

Select from the main Menu: Layers > New adjustment layer > Color balance, add some blue, the high light portion increases yellow, and reduces opacity to 50%. The brightness/contrast, curves, and levels are also adjusted to make the image brighter.

Figure 10

Step:11

Create a new layer, then select the Gradient tool, set the radial mode, and then click the visual focus you want to set, setting the blending mode to soft light and opacity to 24%. So the pattern will change a little differently.

Figure 11

Step:12

Finally, add some shadow to the image. Choose black paint and soft brushes with diameters set to 60 pixels, set blending mode to soft light, and reduce opacity. By brushing, make some of the more hard lines softer. At the same time, the use of small diameter, opacity 40%, flow 70% of the brush in the face brushing, so that the face contour lines more obvious.

Finally, choose from the main Menu: image > Application image and Filter > Blur > Dynamic blur, set very small blur effect, and reduce opacity to 30%. The final effect is shown in the following illustration.
