Rotten mud: easily resizing server C disk space

Source: Internet

Applicable environment: windows 2008, windows 2003, and windows xp are quite confusing. The small size of the drive C on the server causes the running of many of my software to fail. As a result, I checked the relevant information on the Internet, a lot of information and articles about the use of PM software. I have also released many versions of PM software on the Internet. However, it is difficult to understand that all PM software I downloaded cannot be used on my server, either the server version is not supported or it cannot be run directly. I have also seen some articles that use DiskPart, the built-in partition tool of windows server 2003. I also tried it according to this statement, but I still cannot. Finally, I mentioned using "partition assistant" in a post on a website, so I downloaded and tried it. You can use the C drive without interrupting the expansion of the C drive without restarting the ECS instance. I will demonstrate the specific operations as follows: 1. I am currently operating on a virtual machine to resize the C drive, so we can see that the disk model is VMware. Select "Wizard"> "extended partition wizard". You can select the "extended system partition" option or "select the partition you want to expand". Select the second option and select default, next, this item is mainly used to resize the hard disk for drive C, because I only have drive D now, so it is a partition. If there are still drive E and drive F, you can use that partition to resize the C disk selectively. This interface requires you to confirm the size before and after expansion and whether each option is correct. So far, we have successfully resized the C drive. 2. If you want to resize the other partitions to other partitions except the C drive, it is different from the above operations. First, we need to split a part of the space for the partition to be resized, and then add the split space to the partition to be resized. For specific operations, see: This item is special. You must move "unallocated space before partitioning" to "unallocated Space After partitioning" OK. Now the Elastic Block Storage is successfully resized. Oh, yes, after adjustment, it is better to click and execute.
