Microsoft announced today that its joint venture technology conference, Ignite, will be held in May 2015, while Microsoft has revealed its schedule for the first half of next year. The BUILD2015 Developer conference will be held in San Francisco, USA, April 29-May 1 next year.
Microsoft says it will have more information on Windows 10 at the BUILD2015 developer conference, which will focus more on developers than businesses or consumers. As is often the case on the eve of the developer conference, Microsoft will launch new development tools and develop technical demonstrations.
Given the large number of previous reports that Microsoft will release Windows 10 consumer preview in early 2015, the May developer conference will likely have an official version of Windows 10 information.
In addition, Microsoft has revealed some information about a unified Windows store that will span Windows computers, mobile phones, tablet and Xbox platforms.
