Because the Iphone's best-selling Apple's Multitouch (multi-touch) technology is familiar to us, Multitouch technology has developed extensively in recent years, here I will introduce Microsoft's progress in Multitouch technology.
1. Surface solution
Microsoft launched the surface Multitouch solution in. Based on the surface, it can develop applications with up to 20 touch points at the same time, supports special effects such as gesture, stress, water waves, and moving with multiple touch points;
We can download surface sdk: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx from Microsoft official website? FamilyID = 3db8987b-47c8-46ca-aafb-9c3b36f43bcc & displaylang = en
The only difference between Surface hardware and other general devices is that it requires a terminal device that supports multi-touch;
The software environment of Surface is:
OS: Vista sp1 or later
IDE: VS2008 SP1 or EXPRESS
. Net framework: 3.5 SP1
Tested Surface currently does not support VS2010 and. net framework 4;
2. Windows 7 SDK solution
Because the Surface currently does not support VS2010 and. net framework 4. Check the information and find other solutions that support multi-touch. It is surprising that Windows 7 itself supports multi-touch, in addition, the new WPF4 has good support for multi-touch, and only one device that supports multi-touch (of course, it can also be a simulator, I am still looking for a simulated solution ).
Summary of two problems
How does WPF4 support multi-touch?
At present, there are already many examples on the Internet, so this article will not be expanded. Through the examples on the Internet, we confirm that the events provided by WPF4 can support the effects of gestures, smooth movement, expansion, stress, water waves, and so on in multi-touch;
Is there a display that supports multi-touch display in China?
Through some searches on the Internet, we found two models of monitors provided by the two companies (no models are written here to avoid the suspicion of advertising, so you can communicate with them in private). The results are good.
A Preliminary Study on Windows 7 multi-touch is now written here. At present, a hardware device supporting multi-touch may be ordered, and other devices will be in place (or an alternative simulator will be found) to bring you back to the future :)
