2015 Global Cloud computing creates 14 million jobs in China 4.6 million

The report said cloud computing services will create 6.7 million jobs globally this year, up to 14 million by 2015. According to IDC, Cloud computing services will contribute 1.1 trillion dollars a year to new business revenues.

Nearly half of new jobs will be in China and India, IDC said. China will get 4.6 million jobs and India gets 2.1 million. For employees who are more connected to it, they can use cloud services to further improve their productivity.

IDC predicts that new jobs will be distributed evenly among large and small businesses, with more than one-third of the jobs being distributed in the following three areas: Communications and media (2.4 million jobs), banks (1.4 million), independent manufacturing (1.3 million). Banks and other areas will focus more on cloud security and private operations than on public cloud services. Public cloud services are targeted not only at other companies, but also consumers.

In 2011, the United States accounted for 62% of global cloud services spending. But by 2015, the United States will only occupy 7% of the new jobs that cloud services create, with about 1.09 million jobs being created by cloud services.
