At present, cloud computing has become the key point of the new international Information Technology Competition and the commanding heights of information industry competition. August 2011, Shenzhen set up "Shenzhen Cloud Computing Research Alliance", in the past two years member units in the key common technology development, building public service platform and other fields have achieved good social and economic benefits. This paper discusses the existing significance and background of the Alliance, analyzes the development status of the alliance, probes into the future development emphases of the Alliance, and provides reference for promoting the development and application of cloud computing industry, promoting the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure and promoting the transformation of economic development mode.
