Despite this, Windows Azure provides a good set of tools for testing workloads in a public cloud environment. For those who have built a private cloud around Microsoft Systems Center (System Center) and want to try to mix the cloud, how to connect the Microsoft System Center app controller to the ordered Windows Azure and manage both the internal private cloud and the public cloud. How to migrate workloads between these two cloud environments, thus implementing a mixed cloud. Here is the workaround.

You need to do a few things before you use a hybrid cloud:

• Order Windows Azure

• Order Windows Azure to establish a link with the app controller infrastructure, which requires a belt. The PFX extension's SSL certificate is uploaded to Windows Azure, which verifies the identity of your app controller server.

Windows Azure's repository (storage repository), which allows you to upload virtual machines, ISO, and any other resources you need in the future.

Once you sign up for Windows Azure Order service, the first step is to upload your app Controller SSL certificate to Azure. Now remember: you need to export two files for the certificate, one is. CER file, and the other contains a private key. PFX file. Once you have these two certificates, connect Azure to App controller by following these steps:

1. From the Azure Dashboard, in the left pane, scroll down to the settings, and then in the right pane, select the certificate and click Upload Management certificate.

2. At this stage, upload the tape. Certificate for the CER extension.

3. Once uploaded, your azure order ID will be generated, and you can find it in a position similar to that shown in Figure 1. Copy the string to the pasteboard because you need to use it in a later step.

4. Switch to your app controller server, make sure you are connected to the dashboard, click Connect a Windows Azure (connect Windows Azure).

5. You'll see a dialog similar to Figure 2, give it a name, and in the subscription ID (order ID) column, paste the string you copied from the third step.

6. In the management certificate bar, upload belt. PFX extension certificate, enter the appropriate password.

Once you click OK, you can establish the connection between app Controller and Azure. The APP controller dashboard should now show you an active Azure order.

Even if app controller is connected to Azure, you can't copy resources in Azure because there is no repository--you can move resources to that repository. You can use a repository or a repository that Microsoft provides by default, but here's how to upload your own repositories:

1. From the app controller dashboard, in the left pane, click on the library.

2. On the right, expand Windows Azure and select your cloud.

3. Click Create Storage account (creating the storage accounts), name it, and specify the area you want to host the repository (for example, the United States in this article). This is done to create repositories as close to your location as possible, which is expected to speed up uploads and make the synchronization of these files easier. Now, keep that in mind: create this repository as close to where your private cloud infrastructure is located. Click OK.

Now you have a repository--you can move resources to that repository by using the same management platform that you use to manage the private cloud.
