The massive biomedical data represented by the next generation sequencing technology provides unprecedented opportunities for modern life science research, but the subsequent large data analysis becomes a big problem. This study summarizes the latest research progress of cloud computing in biomedicine field, first expounds the cloud computing service model and its advantages, Enumerate large data analysis tools based on cloud computing, this paper introduces the steps of using cloud computing with the PATHSEQ of macro genome analysis, and finally gives some suggestions in the private cloud construction and cloud computing application, hoping to provide new methods and ideas for the mass data processing in the biomedical fields such as genomics, transcription and proteomics.
