Big screen iphone to launch next month

Apple suppliers will launch a new generation of iphones in China next month, the Bloomberg News reported June 24. People familiar with the matter said Apple would increase the output of two big-screen iphones. One iphone, with a 4.7-inch screen, is expected to go public this September. Another iphone uses a 5.5-inch screen and may be listed at the same time. Currently, the IPhone 5s still uses a 4-inch display. With rivals such as Samsung and HTC rolling out 5.7-inch smartphones, Apple is planning to launch a bigger-screen iphone. Big-screen phones have been favored by consumers. In 2014, 40% of Android mobile devices sold in the Chinese market used a screen larger than 5 inches, according to Forrester Research, a market researcher. Tim Cook, Apple's chief executive, must boost Apple's sales, and as a product of more than half its revenues for Apple, the iphone remains the prime weapon of the cook. Last year, the iphone business created 91 billion of billions of dollars in revenue, a business that surpassed the combined revenues of Oracle, Yahoo, Facebook and Twitter. An Apple spokeswoman declined to comment. People familiar with the matter also revealed that the new iphone looks more rounded and thinner than the previous generation. It is more complicated than a small-screen iphone,5.5-inch iphone, which leads to lower productivity. In order to increase production, suppliers must solve this problem. Last year, Bloomberg reported that Apple was testing the new iphone design, and that the big-screen iphone would use curved glass, which would be implanted into more advanced pressure sensors.
