Recently, China's Internet industry mergers and acquisitions, overseas technology giants are not to be outdone. According to Israeli media reports, Israeli Omek Interactive and PrimeSense two hand gesture control technology companies have been in the phase of Intel and Apple, gesture control and other body sense technology is causing the attention of technology companies.

Apple Intel snaps

Israeli media reported that Apple is in the initial negotiations with Israeli 3D sensor maker PrimeSense to buy about 280 million dollars.

In fact, PrimeSense has won 85 million of dollars in investment from Israel and the US venture capital fund. Microsoft launched the Kinect gaming device in 2010, and it has ignited a spark of competition in the field of somatosensory technology. PrimeSense has previously collaborated with Microsoft to integrate the company's technology, chips and designs into the first generation of the Kinect body sensing controller.

Coincidentally, it has been reported that Intel has funded nearly 40 million U.S. dollars to acquire Israeli gesture recognition and tracking technology company Omek Interactive. Geektime, the US technology blogger, said Intel wanted to integrate Omek interactive technology into its own chips, which would attract more device makers to buy the company's chips, Intel's goal or the PC no longer needed a touchscreen. Notably, Omek Interactive was also a takeover target for Samsung and Qualcomm.

Analysts said that, regardless of whether Apple's acquisition of PrimeSense was true, the news showed that body-sensing technology, such as gesture control, appeared to be increasingly being watched by technology giants, who quickly controlled the machine by fiddling with the palm or fingers in the air.

And in the capital market, some body sense technology enterprise's stock price performance is not unusual. Since May this year, the U.S. body Sense technology company InvenSense shares rose more than 50%. Among the 25 fastest-growing technology companies named in Forbes this year, InvenSense ranked eighth.

Israel Tech Gold Rush

Omek Interactive and PrimeSense are all from Israel, and Google has also spent 1 billion of billions of dollars to buy Israeli mobile navigation company Waze, a series of mergers and acquisitions that have made Israel one of the most important coordinates on the global consumer Internet innovation landscape.
