The latest statistics show that Brazil's exports to China in 2009 amounted to 20.191 billion U.S. dollars, the total imports of 15.911 billion U.S. dollars, Brazil's surplus of 4.28 billion U.S. dollars. Brazil's exports to the United States amounted to US $15.74 billion, imports amounted to 20.183 billion U.S. dollars, and a deficit of $4.443 billion against the US. Brazil's foreign trade surplus was $25.35 billion trillion in 2009, up 1.57% from last year.
