China's cloud computing continues to face many challenges

No matter at which stage, or because the user's own understanding of the difference, or the manufacturer propaganda one-sidedness, the current Chinese enterprises "cloud" is far from complete. We find that the popularity of cloud computing in China still faces a multitude of challenges at all levels of thought, technology, or industry.

1, the enterprise economic benefits are not obvious. At present, major IT vendors actively promote their own cloud computing concepts, as well as related products and solutions. And for enterprises, especially in the private cloud, it is difficult to see from these publicity directly to the economic benefits of enterprises, more to see the sales of technical products.

2, lack of industry guidance. Interviews with many industry users will find that each area of cloud computing will have different needs, the focus will vary. Industry cloud will be a direction, but the current cloud related products and solutions are lack of industry cases.

3, simple and easy to use is just a slogan. There is a CIO example of a cloud computing application, pointing out that its deployment is difficult. The idea of the cloud is simplicity, simplicity, and many cloud computing solutions have increased the user's difficulty in the early deployment of applications. The user experience still needs to be valued.

4, the invisible cost is increasing. How to protect the original enterprise investment, users will often throw to the manufacturer of the problem. Building a private cloud, how to smooth with the original it, economic transition to the lowest cost to achieve the highest efficiency, is the concern of enterprises, but also manufacturers can not perfect solution.

Regarding the cloud computing service related responsibility, the duty, at present also lacks the corresponding system stipulation, the related contract also lacks each kind of detail.

7, the user also lacks the unified understanding. Enterprise-class cloud computing, some users will be considered a major industry expertise, or the goal of large enterprises, many users of China's cloud computing also does not have a unified understanding. Some cling to a technological innovation rather than a strategic adjustment.

8, restricted to all-inclusive cloud. When considering cloud computing, many users will think that only all-inclusive cloud is cloud computing, the fact that enterprises only need to use the cloud of ideas and key technologies to promote business development, without having to meet all the characteristics of the cloud, the application is the ultimate goal.

9, the enterprise IT construction lacks the system plan. Many of the enterprise's it construction or stay in the phased planning, cloud computing or the need to rationally judge the future of the business, it direction, which also requires the enterprise's it construction more macroscopic, more systematic.

10, the CIO's responsibility is facing the transformation. It has been suggested that China does not have a real CIO, or because of the CIO's responsibilities or corporate positioning. The era of cloud computing requires CIOs to be real CIOs. This may also be a chance for the Chinese CIO to be transformed by cloud computing.
