China's key participation in the international standard of cloud computing officially released

Recently, China and other member bodies to promote the project and focus on the two international cloud computing standards-ISO/IEC 17,788:2014 "Information Technology cloud Computing Overview and terminology" and ISO/IEC 17,789:2014 "Information Technology cloud Computing Reference Architecture" officially released, This marks the international standardization of Cloud Computing has entered a new stage.

This is the first time the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and the World Telecommunication Union (ITU) jointly set up

As one of the promotion countries of these two international standards, China has submitted more than 20 items and made important contributions to speeding up the development of standards. In the standard development process, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Department of Software Services Division of the Electronics Industry Standardization Institute and other Standardization Institutions and enterprises, through the ISO/IEC JTC1 SC38 WG3 Cloud Computing Working Group, actively participate in standard development. At the same time, pay attention to national standards and international standards of coordinated promotion, by the Software Services Division agreed to the national standards "Information Technology cloud Computing Overview and Vocabulary" and "Information Technology cloud Computing Reference Architecture" respectively equivalent to the use of these two international standards, will also be released as soon as possible.

These two international cloud computing standards, the basic concepts of cloud computing and common vocabulary, this paper expounds the cloud Computing Reference Architecture from the angle of user and function, not only builds the basic function Reference model for the cloud service provider and the developer, but also provides the guide for the evaluation and auditor of cloud service, and helps to realize the unified understanding of cloud computing.
