Along with the acceleration of urbanization and the progress of computer technology, especially the integration of cloud computing and IoT technology, intelligent building has moved from a single digital building to a community based on sensor and distributed computing. With the popularization of intelligence in public buildings and civil buildings, intelligent communities that assemble many intelligent buildings also appear. The current universally accepted concept of an intelligent community refers to the access of Internet broadband in a small residential area as a new necessity, and the promotion of this necessity to local economic development and public welfare as important as the drinking water and electricity in life.
"Cloud-shrouded" intelligent community
With the improvement of community functional requirements and the coverage of mass information, the intelligent community of computer network has been unable to meet the needs of remote control and information processing in community. But the advent of cloud computing and the Internet of things has laid a solid foundation for meeting these needs. The future community will also see the interconnected broadband network as a "necessity", but what is more important based on "necessities" is that the future community will be surrounded by "cloud objects" or "cloud" is everywhere. At present, China's cloud computing and the Internet of things are all in the high-speed growth period, from 2010 to 2015, China's cloud computing market and the Internet market of the average annual composite growth rate is expected to reach 40% and 30% respectively.
However, the cloud computing and Internet of things in the US and Europe are rapidly becoming ubiquitous in intelligent communities, and China is still in the conceptual design phase of this area. The main reason for this disparity is that Europe and the US are far ahead of China in the technology applications of cloud computing and Internet of things. Especially in the application of cloud computing, the current domestic application is mainly concentrated in the IaaS phase, that is, the phase of hardware virtualization, and foreign cloud computing is generally at the stage of PAAs and SaaS application, that is, the stage of service value generation through cloud computing. It is precisely because of the different application of technology, which leads to the different direction of the development of intelligent community. The intelligent community in our country is more inclined to the application of intelligent building monomer, and the intelligent community in Europe and America emphasizes the manifestation of the whole function of intelligent community under the network state. As a result, intelligent communities in Europe and the US are more reliant on the contribution of the emerging technologies of cloud computing and Internet of things to the overall community function.

"Cloud" Changes the way people live in the community
We can imagine that in the traditional Internet intelligent community, ubiquitous high-speed wireless network coverage has met the requirements of mass information transmission, so that people can always enjoy the information to family life and office convenience. However, how to use this information to produce practical benefits is not achieved in the Internet environment. For example, when we are ready to go home from work, we naturally hope that the home hot water, room temperature, light and other in the most pleasant conditions. We can easily get information about these conditions over the Internet, but we can't control them in real time. In the traditional Internet community environment, although housewives can learn through the network of children's learning and related to all aspects of family life information, but can not make these information on their own most useful, or to produce value. With the support of cloud computing, the mass information processing technology will extract the most valuable information according to the demand in the shortest time. For example, when housewives send their children to school, through cloud computing, they are able to get the best traffic map through the digital terminals around them, and when they learn to grow in school or other facilities, they can use cloud computing to get their children's location and health information. It also avoids the need for frequent internet conversations to disturb children's learning and life; in family life planning, they can easily learn about household consumption (e.g. water, electricity, gas, food, cleaning supplies, etc.) on the basis of cloud computing. And then through the online shopping way to get all the family need.
In the "cloud" of the future smart community, every intelligent building, whether residential, school, office building, hospital, etc., are in the internet-based "cloud" surrounded, so that people in the community from the mastery of information into the effective use of information, so that information can be to the community's power equipment, medical institutions, Offices, schools, recreational facilities, etc. have a beneficial direct impact. Perhaps, now we will think that all this is too far away, because in the current Chinese community can not even do wireless network coverage. But at least we have seen great potential and momentum. With the development of "smart city" in China, Tianjin has been rated as the most potential intelligent community city in China by the International Intelligent Community Forum. It is estimated that 2012 China's intelligent Building Integration system market size has jumped from the 2005 20.1 billion yuan to 122.3 billion yuan in 2012, is expected to be close to 300 billion yuan in 2015. It can be foreseen that the future of our country in intelligent building and intelligent community will be a great development, and with the cloud computing and Internet technology and intelligent building of the continuous integration of the "cloud" type of intelligent community will increase the proportion of each year.
