The cloud operating environment is the platform that supports participatory systems. This paper introduces a method of designing the ecosystem of participatory system. Online users increasingly need a rich experience to take advantage of information from different structured and unstructured sources, social channels, and peer users. Users can quickly extract the value contained in this information to achieve personal goals and support sensible choices. This type of experience has not only become a standard in the consumer domain, but is also now a general expectation of enterprise applications. Participatory systems (SoE) can support this rich experience, extract value from information from multiple channels, and implement new digital business models. The cloud Operating Environment (CLOUDOE) is the platform that supports the SoE workload. Cloudoe provides an ecosystem for developing, deploying, and operating an SOE application that enables the agility and speed required for the SOE.

The design of SOE ecosystem is a new task, and the traditional analysis methods such as use cases have too many limitations to represent the decision to support the SOE model. This article provides an alternative method to describe its impact on the design process. Explain related design concepts and development flows by using a tourism example.

Participatory processes and systems

Participatory processes are already the mainstream of many industries and are becoming increasingly important in other industries. Examples of this include:

Vacation Planning: Holiday Planning Using the Internet is the most mature market for online participation. Accessing the price comparison engine, consulting TripAdvisor, and looking at contextual data (such as data on Google Maps and weather information on Weather Channel), and finding and exchanging information with groups of experts on social networks are common practices for digital visitors. Financial advisory: The bank has long ago turned from providing only one financial operation of the counter to the financial health consultant, with customers to establish a continuous, stable, face-to-face relationship. Such a relationship requires continuous, up-to-date knowledge, and trust between consultants and customers. New personal welfare programs: with less budget and growing economic pressure, some governments are shifting their attention away from social unrest through subsidies to social outcomes through personalized programs that once again allow residents to participate in the production cycle. This approach requires inter-agency collaboration, integration of resident data from both public and private sources, and the Association of Structured and unstructured information to identify plans that are most likely to succeed in each situation. Fraud and abuse investigations: in the global electronic marketplace, fraud and abuse have emerged in new forms, reaching new and complex heights. To investigate them, you need to analyze and contrast massive structured and unstructured data from different, often seemingly unrelated, sources. The timing and geographical location of the data, as well as collaboration among multiple organizations, are key contributing factors to this programme. Contextual shopping (based on location-aware): location-aware based on the location of personal mobile devices, making a new retail scenario possible, expanding the experience that is commonplace on the Internet through "contextual" ads based on the user navigation history of the search engine.

Support for SoE has created new possibilities for many industries. Users can have a rich experience of the system, which in the past is a type of experience that can only be achieved through human interaction. In fact, participation is human-centred in nature. In the recording system (SoR), the record-centric process tracks the progress of the user through a data registration sequence, in contrast to the purpose of the SoE to achieve goals that are meaningful to the user.

SOE Ecosystem

In essence, SoE applies predictive analysis to mobile, social, cloud public services, and traditional IT systems (SoR) to deliver applications and smart products directly to customers, partners, and employees in their daily life environments.

Figure 1 illustrates an SoE ecosystem:

Figure 1. An SoE ecosystem

An SoE:

Support collaboration: The SoE is born for human beings, and they assume that people will collaborate with each other. Instead, the main focus of SoR is the interaction of the user (human) with the system (the machine) on a particular process. In one participation, the interaction and human-computer interaction of human beings have equal status, which is part of the whole collaboration. Using rich data from multiple sources: SoE cannot be separated from large data. By analyzing different data sources to extract meaningful practical information, this is the core of human reasoning and SoE. Adapt to identity and preferences: When you are an IT professional, you have different behaviors and preferences from the parents of school-age children (although the two identities interact with each other in some way). However, for some SoR, all of your roles use the same ID, address, Government ID number, and so on. SoE is not. SOE must consider your work, preferences, and history (in short, your background) to provide the desired rich experience. In fact, the SoE must use many dynamic Data analysis or master Data Management (MDM) systems to maintain and continuously enrich complex user information. Time and position perception: the rich user experience must take into account the fact that we live in time and move in space. If you expect to go to the beach next week will be a tropical storm, but you received this beach sunny photos, this is not a good service for your trip. (This is the level of service offered by most current scheduled SoR.) As you participate in an activity, mobile devices provide opportunities for richer interactions. Supports multiple ways of interacting: mobile devices can bring the most extensive customer experience, because they can contain the location of the user in the participating logic. However, some participation does not require location awareness, so these can be used effectively from regular PCs. Other types of devices, such as kiosks and even ATMs, may play a role in other routine involvement. Maintain appropriate security and privacy: Because the SoE understands so much of your information, it must secure that information. The user must be able to control who can get the information. But the less open the data, the less access to services, because customization of information and services tailored to the individual interests of the user is the primary function of the system. (In this respect, SoR is less stringent because it usually induces behavioral differences into user classes or user profiles.) )

Cloud operating Environment: the technology behind SoE

In contrast to SoR, SoE must be designed to handle volatile resource requirements and unplanned and unpredictable capacity requirements. In addition, to make themselves stand out in the marketplace and raise revenue, they must enable customers to quickly gain insights from available data. For these reasons, the SoE requires a platform to make applications easy to deploy, manage, and scale. Developers can then focus on the development and operation of the application itself, rather than the infrastructure that hosts the application.

The infrastructure, the service (IaaS) cloud, provides developers with virtually no size-limiting data centers without any prior hardware purchases. However, developers still need to configure virtual machines, install middleware software, connect system components, and maintain systems, all of which can take up real creative work time. Even when developers implement DevOps on top of IaaS, they still need to spend time building and managing operations.

The function of the cloud is not just to provide IaaS. Cloudoe is responsible for deploying, configuring, and connecting virtual machines, allowing developers to concentrate more on their applications. Cloudoe automates the DevOps process, which translates into a developer-oriented noops. The key to Cloudoe's success is how efficiently and how quickly it can support frontline developers in building their own applications.
