March 25, 2010, the Cloud Computing China Summit (CCCC 2010-cloud Computing Congress http://www.cloudcomputingchina.org) was held in Beijing. The summit, "cloud computing technology innovation and user demand" as the theme, from the industry and enterprise user needs from the perspective of in-depth exploration of cloud computing deployment strategy, cloud security, cloud computing and data center, how cloud computing support telecom business, cloud computing to help finance business upgrades, cloud computing and civil aviation informatization, cloud storage Public cloud and private cloud and mixed cloud, cloud computing business model innovation and other focus topics. As a professional event in the field of cloud computing, the summit focused on the three key industries of finance, telecommunications and civil aviation, bringing new information to the participants.

The era of virtualization and cloud computing has come. There is no doubt that virtualization and cloud computing will bring us great opportunities, but at the same time to the enterprise's existing IT Server system architecture and management model impact, to a large extent, will change the existing server and service procurement mode. In the process of informatization, colleges and universities are the advocates and promoters of virtualization, SaaS (software as Service), PaaS (Platform-Service), IaaS (infrastructure, service), cloud computing and green it. How to correctly deal with the challenges posed by virtualization and cloud computing, to grasp the opportunity to adapt to the future development of it technology, is placed in the information process in colleges and universities need to solve the problem.

Guests gathered at the summit. The President of the Conference is the general manager of business value and IDC China independent consultant. Participating leaders include Dong Baoqing, deputy Director of Information Promotion Department of Ministry of Industry, Chen Zhenqing, director of China Computer Users Association. Speakers include China Import and export Bank Information Technology Department general manager Wang Yunsheng, China Telecom Group Enterprise and Government Client Division chief engineer of the National Broadband Engineering Laboratory, Tang Xiongyan, Deputy chief engineer of China Unicom Group Co. McAfee Company senior vice president and general manager Marc Olesen, NetApp Systems Technology and professional services director Feng Shengchang, Nokia Siemens Global business investment director Amir Lahat, Bo Tong Enterprise Network Group Vice President and CTO Nicholas Ilyadis, Neustar company Webmetrics Research and development director Lenny Rachitsky, vice president of SuccessFactors company Tom Fisher, Amazon Online cloud services Asia-Pacific technical advisor Simone Brunozzi and so on. In addition, China Unicom IDC Operations Center deputy General Manager Cannan, Microsoft Greater China Development Tools and Platform Division general Manager Shenwey, IBM China Company Cloud Computing project leader Liang Zhihui, China Software Industry Association Embedded System Branch Secretary-General Guo Chun also participated in the Forum interactive discussion link.

At present, the global IT industry is carrying out a mighty "cloud" end of the journey. "The advent of cloud computing technology makes it possible to get software and computing power directly through Web applications, which will bring a huge change to the traditional IT industry, and cloud computing is becoming a development trend in the IT industry," Businessweek said in a recent commentary. Although the definition and scope of cloud computing are not yet conclusive, there are many arguments and understandings. But there is no doubt that. Its influence will gradually penetrate into people's work and life. With the speed of Internet connection and the improvement of Internet software, cloud computing can accomplish more and more tasks.

Perhaps the first thing you will ask is what cloud computing is. It should be said that cloud computing (Cloud Computing) is the development of distributed processing (distributed Computing), parallel processing (Parallel Computing) and Grid computing (grid Computing), or the business implementation of these computer science concepts.

The basic principle of cloud computing is that enterprise data centers run more like the Internet by distributing computations across a large number of distributed computers rather than on local computers or remote servers. This allows the enterprise to switch resources to the required applications and to access the computer and storage systems as needed.

At the moment, PCs are still the core tool in our day-to-day life: we use PCs to process documents, store data, and share information with others via email or u disk. If the PC hard drive is broken, we will be stranded because of data loss. In the "Cloud computing" era, the cloud will do the work of storing and computing for us. "Cloud" is the computer group, each group includes hundreds of thousands of units, and even millions of computers. The benefit of the cloud is that the computer can be updated at any time to ensure that the cloud is immortal.

First, we can compare the job scheduling aspects of grid computing. Job scheduling is the core value of grid technology, the goal of grid is to use all kinds of resources as much as possible. Through specific grid software, a large project is decomposed into countless independent and unrelated subtasks, which are then computed by each compute node. Even if a node has problems, not able to return the results in time, does not affect the entire project process, even even if a certain computing node suddenly collapse, the task can be assigned to the tasks of scheduling system to other nodes to continue to complete.
