Recently, Hortonworks and the data Application Platform Developer Concurrent formally established the alliance, these two companies said will be combined to simplify the development process of large data center applications. Hortonworks and its main competitor, Cloudera, are competing for the Hadoop market, and Cloudera has stepped up efforts to expand its channels against Hortonworks's series of moves.
