CIOs and CTO have to seriously consider a problem, since it budgets have been slashed, and it has been faced with the pressure to respond more flexibly to business opportunities, combined with the overall cost reduction, the grim situation and how cloud computing should be handled under pressure to bring positive and significant changes to the company.

Today many companies are experimenting with cloud computing to develop and test environments and meet backup and recovery needs. At the same time, e-mail and Microsoft SharePoint Services in the cloud environment are also gaining popularity. As discussions continue, companies should consider moving focus from applications to application workloads. But the question is, which workloads are appropriate for the cloud environment now? What is appropriate to stay in the enterprise now? and which are not in the future, or even in the next year, in the cloud? All these questions need to be discussed and solved.

The key to the problem is not which application or even the data feature is appropriate for the cloud; The key is services to ensure that the cloud has the flexibility to provide both resilient capacity and the ability to dynamically meet the operational requirements of the business functions it supports.

The following three important factors need to be considered when evaluating which workloads are best suited for private and public clouds:

Risk tolerance: This involves security, compliance requirements, it reliability, and network performance. For example, what impact will the service have on your company as a result of temporary disruption?

Recurring workloads: Most applications do not run all the time, but they do not require dedicated resources, although it departments have traditionally allocated dedicated resources for almost all workloads. In the current cost-efficient period, this practice is no longer feasible. It organizations now have the means to consolidate many workloads onto shared it infrastructures, whether they are public or private, or a combination of mixed clouds.

Payment options: In any case, the key is to eliminate capital expenditure. However, if such spending cannot be saved in any way, it must be given maximum value. You can choose to use the public cloud for the subscription payment model, or you can migrate the workload to the internal private cloud--with a very high rate of consolidation and it automation, maximizing the value of IT investment.

In the end, it is wise to consider a top-down approach to a comprehensive understanding of the requirements of your workload. Ensuring that the value of it is aligned with the business value helps to show where cloud computing can best benefit your organization.
