As most of the technology trends that have been oversold have faded their initial aura, and the ebb is fast, some sceptics have a conservative view of the big data [note] technology. The human Genome project changes the medical profession

The human Genome Project began in the early 1990s, but we didn't realize it was actually a big data project. A complete genome map was drawn up in 2003, and some of the big data movement pioneers have begun to spread the idea of big data across the technology field.

Based on the early successful practice of the human genome, it is not surprising that medical and pharmaceutical were the first two areas to adopt large data technologies and tools.
