The disappearance of growth. My point is that as we move towards a world of positive externalities, GDP is no longer a good way to measure economic growth. The Khan Academy, for example, will reduce the sales of traditional paper textbooks in the process of growing up, which is like a negative growth in GDP.
The disappearance of employment. Mainly the rise of automation and the growth of self-service services. For example, business behavior is moving from offline to online, and even in physical stores, self-service checkout is becoming popular. This has had a noticeable impact on employment.
The disappearance of capital. Companies in the past need a lot of operating capital to pay for wages, suppliers, rents, and so on, and these costs need to be paid before they get paid. Now these companies can be produced or digitized on demand via presale (digital Distribution) and other ways to get rid of or even reverse the need for operational capital.
The disappearance of the company. The company used to be an important means to achieve organizational coordination by reducing external stimuli. Now because of the openness of information, we can achieve the same goal or even better in the absence of company, especially in non-profit projects. An interesting example is the story of Twitch playing Pokemon.
Focus disappears. Both individuals and organizations used to have a strong focus, and now there are so many distractions, and the organization spends a lot of money on making a group of people focus on something.
