Android takes the mainstream of 3% low-cost devices in China every quarter

Samsung ranks first in China to sell smartphones, followed by Apple, and China's smartphone maker Millet occupies third place, the report said. The three brands account for 60% of China's smartphone sales.

Millet's smartphone sales in China have almost doubled in the past 12 months. From the third quarter of 2012 to 6.6% to 2013-year three-quarter 12.7%. Millet is likely to overtake the second-place Apple, which has fallen from 24.7% in the third quarter of last year to 13.8% this year.
