Both SAP and Hewlett-Packard stressed that the next step in cloud computing http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/9764.html "> development is to have all the different clouds hooked up to traditional IT systems to build a huge hybrid cloud."

Sven Denecken, vice president of SAP Strategy and enterprise Innovation Cloud solution and chief technology officer of HP Cloud strategy, Christian Verstraete yesterday presented the cloud strategy plan for their respective companies at the World Forum on cloud computing, and they seem to have come to almost identical conclusions.

They think that the future direction is mixed cloud or aggregation cloud, the Enterprise employee desktop, the Internet, personal Dropbox or anywhere else will be in some way integrated into a seamless user interface.

For companies, the world is changing. The biggest consequence of globalisation and the current economic and financial turmoil is that companies must act quickly.

Denecken said in a recent survey by Saugatuck Marvell, the chief information officer and business leader, that two-thirds of business leaders think the long-term benefit of the cloud is to improve the flexibility and mobility of the business.

Verstraete said: "We have lost the wrong idea before, we think the cloud can help companies reduce costs." Now we think that cloud can allow us to do a lot of different things, so as to respond to market changes more quickly. ”

Denecken the idea of SAP's intention to develop a new user interface on the ipad platform, a user interface that allows sales and financial information, chat rooms, and other work-related things to be packed into small boxes that can be easily invoked.

Another important part of the SAP cloud strategy, he says, is that everything is moving because that's how users want it.

"I don't want my travel expenses to happen in the office, and I want it to happen on the phone and on the tablet," he said. ”

Both SAP and Hewlett-Packard say that people will push their businesses to the cloud, whether they want them or not, and that their use of the Internet and personal accounts during their work is part of the reason companies need the cloud.

Verstraete said: "Shadow it began to appear in the public cloud, will eventually go backstage." If you don't provide users with what they want, they'll find out for themselves, and then you'll need to see how the data is exchanged, protected, and still your data.

"In the end, corporate CIOs have to be responsible for a lot of things they can't control." ”

But no matter how comfortable the user is in the cloud, no company thinks we'll end up in a world that doesn't require hardware at all. Of course it's nothing for a Pinterest-like network, but it's absolutely not for most conventional companies.

That means that traditional it and all the different clouds must be assembled to make life easier for users. SAP and Hewlett-Packard say the complexities of consolidating disparate applications and software are not yet clear.

Verstaete said: "You end up with a lot of things packed together, they may be in different places, need different resources." ”

"As a user, I don't want to know anything about the background." ”

Denecken also holds this view, saying that the SAP hybrid cloud is looking for a consumer-like experience, with a mobile user experience.
