Oracle has launched a monthly pay-as-you-go option to increase service flexibility in an effort to attract more corporate users to its cloud computing services.

The new Pay-as-you-go option is primarily for Oracle's IaaS service, first proposed last October on Oracle OpenWorld.

In essence, enterprise users can deploy several different Oracle engineered Bae, such as Exadata databases and Exalytics memory computing solutions, at the IaaS-level data center in Oracle Cloud.

Users can also deploy such platforms in Third-party data centers in place of the local installation scheme.

Oracle pointed out that the new service is characterized by monthly charges, during the use of the user's requirements for the calculation of processing capacity to improve or reduce.

According to Http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/34896.html, senior vice president of Oracle Software development >, Juan Loaiza, The launch of the new service marks the first time a user can deploy engineered bae locally at the first available monthly fee, while also ensuring safety and reliability. The user simply needs to deliver the cost in accordance with the maximum processing capacity required.

Oracle also assures users that the program is not a simple hardware facility for rent. The monthly fee standard will be released publicly, the user can judge according to the standard how much to pay, in addition the cost of hardware leasing also need to keep changing bank interest rate.

Oracle said it would not require subscribers to pay for the corporate IT budget, but the cost of operations could increase over time.

Some customer support services are included in the new infrastructure solution, but the subscription price does not include licensing fees for Exadata, Exalogic, and other software products.

It is worth noting, however, that users must sign a three-year contract to use this service. When the three-year deadline expires, the user can opt out of renewing the contract and return the hardware to Oracle, or choose to renew the contract for one or more years at a discounted price. But the fact that standard cloud computing products are paid at one time includes the cost of using the entire service, rather than the "installment" of Oracle's IaaS. When the service was announced, it was infoworld to question Oracle cloud services.
