Gartner: Cloud and Big Data is at the forefront of China's IT market opportunities

Gartner publishes the latest report, which states:

As pictured above, the first three-digit IT spending in China in 2013 is cloud computing, large data and information management, and data center consolidation. These three areas are significantly higher than the global peers. Significantly lower than global peers in virtualization, it modernization, mobile technology, it governance, VoIP, and unified communications and collaboration.

2013-2016, China's top three CIO key technical issues are: 1 business intelligence applications; 2 cloud computing; 3 Mobile technology.

By 2014, nearly 80% of Chinese customers will be spending more on cloud computing.

Chinese companies ' preference for public and private clouds is basically flat. 27% of the enterprises choose the public cloud outside, 27% of the enterprises choose the internal private cloud, 22% of the enterprises choose managed private cloud services, and 23% of the enterprises choose to limit the environment of the public cloud services.

Top ten strategic priorities for Chinese CIOs in the 2013. The top three are: 1 improving IT departments and staff, 2 delivering business solutions, and 3 creating digital business solutions.
