Hortonworks teamed up with red Hat to build more powerful Hadoop

Today's Hadoop is synonymous with big data, and Cloudera, MAPR, and Hortonworks have become pillars, Cloudera aim for large, lucrative orders, MAPR are committed to developing next-generation, powerful Hadoop, Hortonworks hopes to build on the strengths of open source communities and partners. Recently, Hortonworks and Red Hat together, the Hadoop and OpenStack technology integration, build a more powerful platform, Gigaom analyst Derrick Harris for us to do a unique analysis.
Red hat and Hortonworks will consolidate a large number of technologies that allow their common customers to seamlessly run the Hadoop workload on a private cloud or virtualized infrastructure. In an emerging market worth billions of of dollars, friends like Red Hat are a boon to Hortonworks.
Monday Hortonworks announced a new strategic partnership with Red Hat, a big step in its strategy of winning a commercial victory by hitchhiking with a channel trader. Under the new alliance, the two companies are integrating the Hortonworks data platform, bringing their entire set of Hadoop tools into the mix of Red hat products, including massive Red Hat storage and OpenStack cloud computing platforms.
for Hortonworks, the new layout is a good thing to be a red Hat for the Hadoop world. Red hat is a billions of-dollar open source company, but it is expanding its market in the Enterprise data center. For Red Hat's goodwill and sales ability, Hortonworks is of course the more fully utilized the better. Of course, Red hat also needs to be hadoop,hortonworks cooperative, friendly and fully open source in the big data age to meet the requirements.

The rapid development of Hadoop is surprising, who can think of today's huge Hadoop market, where only a handful of companies-mainly Cloudera, MAPR and hortonworks---are introducing similar versions of Hadoop to the market, with similar techniques.
