IBM Designs Ultra-Secure dedicated cloud to save money for U.S. troops

In early February, IBM signed a pilot contract with the U.S. Air Force to build a cloud computing system that could safely support defence and intelligence networks to better secure the military's network. IBM said the contract lasted 10 months, IBM needs to use cloud computing technology to analyze thousands of data streams in order to detect and defend against malicious attacks and system failures, the Air Force will send technicians throughout the supervision. IBM's Secure Cloud computing model is highly autonomous and can be constantly tuned to optimize performance without human intervention. After 10 months, IBM will provide the military with concrete application cases and basic designs to meet military needs. Air Force technicians will review the results of the test and decide whether to continue implementing cloud computing projects based on IBM's research results. Makquili believes the military is likely to choose a dedicated cloud computing model for security reasons. The project involved military and civil researchers, software designers, analysts, cyber security experts and other federal agencies, and IBM did not disclose the value and specific terms of the contract.
