Zhang Ying also said that the development of the business also brought a large number of customer data, and the mining and analysis of these data can in turn continue to improve customer service levels, reduce risk management coefficient, to form a virtuous circle.

At present, the IT development Department of ICBC has developed into a huge team of more than 6,000 people, whose data architecture system is built around the data warehouse, its data warehouse system began construction in 2007, has invested more than 10 yuan, but the value return is far more than the 1 billion RMB.

In the process of construction, management and development, the Data Warehouse is the most important to the management of metadata. The scope of data management is not limited to data warehouses, but covers the entire business process of ICBC data. ICBC has established a corresponding management system and combined the use of supporting management tools to ensure that the data can be the best use of the maximum mining data value.

From the typical application based on data Warehouse development, ICBC currently has several common platform management systems, such as CRM, financial management, performance management, risk management and information management, which is similar to many other financial institutions.

Zhang Ying said ICBC more attention to information management. The Management Information Department is responsible for the development of standards and specifications from the management level to control the total amount of data within ICBC. The content of information management includes data model, data security, data quality, metadata, data integration and so on.

ICBC in the past two years in performance management has done a lot of work, the performance of each department, each employee, has been quantified to strengthen processing, from recent years of earnings data, this performance management construction for the promotion of business operations is very large.

Customer evaluation and Service: To achieve a unified view of enterprise customers, individual customers, to achieve the internal provision of comprehensive customer evaluation and diversified services.

Customer Profiling: Refining customer consumption characteristics and customizing marketing solutions for individuals.

Precision Marketing: Customer mining based on data Warehouse. 2012 12 Branches launched 15 precision marketing activities, comprehensive success rate of more than 20%.

Loan Approval: When the customer applies for personal loans, the credit system will be based on the information in the Data warehouse for customer rating, qualified in the credit system after the completion of the investigation, smoothen, transfer, replenishment, lending and other processes.

In the end, Zhang said that no matter how large the amount of data, and no matter how large the size of the enterprise, the establishment of customized data management system must be built as a basic construction work, just to spend money to buy back data management tools is not enough, otherwise data management will not maximize the value of data.
