November Firefox is the Biggest loser in the browser market, according to the latest data from market research company NET applications.

From October to November, the market share of IE increased by 0.14%, from 58.22% to 58.36%. Firefox's market share fell 0.16%, from 18.7% to 18.54%. Chrome's market share rose 0.02%, from 15.42% to 15.44%. Safari's market share rose 0.06% to 5.9%. Opera's market share fell 0.03% to 1.39%.

IE's market share has hit a new high this year. This January, IE's market share for the first time to return to the 55% mark. In recent months, the data show that IE in a short period of time will not lose the dominance of the browser market. At present, its market share has approximated to 60%.

In November, IE11 's market share rose 1.78%, from 1.49% to 3.27%. This is largely due to a drop in IE10 's share of 1.44% to 17.6%, as well as a drop in IE9 's share of 0.24% to 9.25%.

IE8 's share was down 0.02%, but still 21.74%, the world's most popular browser version. The problem for Microsoft is that the growth in IE11 market share is mainly at the expense of IE10 and IE9, while Windows XP users cannot upgrade to the browser version after IE8.

In November, IE7 's market share rose 0.03% to 1.34%, while IE6 's market share fell 0.01% to 4.92%. Two months ago, IE6 's market share fell below 5% for the first time. Fortunately, the recent IE6 share has not rebounded.

Firefox's market share is slipping, at 18.54%. The last time Firefox's market share approached 18% or May 2008. In the first full month after the release, Firefox 25 's market share rose 9.67% to 10.43%. Other versions of the Firefox browser market share have declined. Among them, Firefox 24 down 9.11%, Firefox 23 down 0.85%, Firefox 22 down 0.08%, and Firefox 21 down 0.01%.

Chrome's market share last month was 15.44%, similar to the 28-month level. Chrome 31 has a market share of 6.77%, while other versions share a drop. Chrome 30 dropped 4.51%,chrome 29, 28 and 27 down 2%.

Net applications data comes from 160 million independent users of about 40,000 websites of the company's customers. Another market research firm, StatCounter, is based on tracking 15 billion page views to determine the market share of browsers. StatCounter's data showed that in November, Chrome's market share was 41.87%,ie 27.31%, and Firefox was 18.15%,safari for 8.5%,opera 1.18%.
