Can run app, phone watch
I'm Leon, the co-founder of Inwatch's smart watch, and let's take a short video to get a look at what we're doing before giving a speech. As you can see, our team has a smart watch for wearable smart devices--inwatch. At the beginning of last year, when my partner, Ms., found me saying he wanted to get a watch with internet access, apps, and phone calls, I made up my mind to take a look at the watch and feel really cool, so I decided to join the team to do it. At the time there was no system concept of smart wear, and our idea was simply to add the function of the smartphone and not to act like a mobile phone.
Our first prototype was a 1.7-inch screen, huge, like a iPhone5 tied to the wrist, very heavy, very big, terrible, we have a meeting decided to push everything back. We agreed with industrial designers that the watch must be comfortable for the user, without any sense of Shong, and that it would be cumbersome to wear our watch. We decided to choose the size of the ipod nano screen, which is now my hand wearing the inwatch one.
You see I wear the appearance, may feel that this watch is still very big, that is because I am thinner, a normal weight adult man, wear will feel very comfortable, not like I wear feel very big.
The Inwatch One smart watch uses a 1.54-inch OLED color screen, 240*240 resolution, 1.2G dual-core CPU, 8G storage space, Android 4.2 operating system, voice control with cloud sound, Bluetooth enabled, 200W camera, and more importantly , this small device can call.
Wearable devices are not for the elimination of smartphones
After listening to my series of configuration introductions, do you think you can eliminate your mobile phone with this little watch?
I regret to tell you that the idea is wrong. Wearable devices are not going to eliminate our existing smartphones, but to make up for what smartphones can't do. When the smartphone came out, everyone was predicting whether it would eliminate the PC. But after so many years, PC is still pc, it does not die and will not die, but from the first Shi to the second screen. Similarly, a good wearable device must know how to interact with multiple devices at the same time, including computers, automobiles, mobile phones, and so on. If an intelligent wearable device does not fit well with multiple screens, there will be no room for future development of this wearable device.
I have some sports enthusiasts around, and they run with a cellphone strapped to their arms while listening to music. Small cell phone I look good, but the other day I saw a foreign sister in three Li Tun tied a oversized Samsung mobile phone on the arm, I feel very funny. Now the smart bracelet and smart watch have not been popularized, and once the technology matures, I think it's good news for sports enthusiasts. Can you imagine a jogging enthusiast wearing a smart watch that can accurately record the number of steps he runs, listen to songs, and pick up the phone in a timely manner?
Previously all of these functions were carried by oversized handsets, and now it is only a smart watch that can solve these things.
Let's take a look at the best use of a wearable device, a picture of a cycling road race.
If the bike enthusiasts inside every day have one hours of cycling, when riding his mobile phone is very inconvenient and unsafe, even if there is a Bluetooth headset, he can not clearly understand the caller information. If he was wearing smart glasses or a smart watch on his bike, he would be able to handle the information safely, efficiently and conveniently.
In fact, smart wear equipment is not limited to smart watches and smart glasses. I saw a message a few days ago that an Australian team made a smart device that was smart diapers. If we had a baby, put on a smart diaper, and once the baby peed, our parents ' cell phone would immediately receive a message and we would be able to get to the baby and change the diaper for him, so that the baby would be comfortable and the parents would be relieved. As well, I've seen smart T-shirts, smart shoes, smart socks and smart underwear that detect sweat, and I don't know if there will be any smart nail polish or smart teeth in the future.
Battery capacity is an impediment to the development of wearable equipment
In the development of smart wear, but also by a great hindrance, which most hinder the development of smart devices is the battery technology behind.
Take our Inwatch smart watch and Google Glass for example, both of our devices face the same problem, that is, not enough time. In the current global battery technology, can not fundamentally solve this problem.
But like our inwatch, we took a very tricky compromise. We use wireless charging, is the big black in our ppt, when you come home to sleep at night, just take off the smart watch and put it on the big guy, it can recharge. After waking up the next morning, it was a fully charged watch, and I think this innovation is our team's innovation in the most brutal user experience.
January 9, 2007, Joe's father in Silicon Valley released the first generation of the iphone, today, but only more than 2,300 days, this has made our lives have changed dramatically. I believe that in the near future, the smart wear equipment represented by Google Glass will develop rapidly and our life will become smarter, more convenient and better.
The last picture is my favorite Liberal leader, implying that the coming age of wearable intelligence will have more creative birth than we can imagine, and that the technological revolution that we cannot imagine will happen, and all this is unknown. In this field, we are at the same starting point with the United States, Japan, Israel and other foreign innovation teams, we use the same technology. We believe that China's wearable technology will also develop very rapidly and not lag behind other countries abroad.
